The Chocolate Experience

Chocolate is anything but ordinary. Join us for one of two offerings - “Intro to Chocolate” or an “In Depth Tasting” where your team will be taken on a sensory tour of how Nuance makes chocolate, covering topics such as the botanical cultivars of cacao, the science for fermentation, the magic of roasting, and then finishing with a guided tasting.

  • Each kit includes 3 chocolate bars plus a bag of cacao nibs. There is plenty to share so recipients are encouraged to bring a friend

Toby Gadd

Toby Gadd, co-foundered Nuance Chocolate with his wife Alix, having been certified chocoholics for decades, even going on chocolate-tasting dates together over a decade ago.  Inspired after visiting a chocolate museum near Hone Creek in Costa Rica, their infatuation with eating chocolate developed into exploring the chemistry, flavors, and mysteries of making their own small-batch chocolate. What began as an all-consuming family hobby quickly outgrew their home kitchen, blossoming into Nuance Chocolate—one of a very small number of true bean-to-bar chocolate makers in the United States.
